The Churchill Hotel, York

The Churchill Hotel is a luxury hotel situated in York city centre. The building is a superb example of a late Georgian mansion built around 1827. Over the years the house has been a girls school, grace and favour home and military offices.

In 1984 the house was purchased by the current owners who have lovingly restored it to its former glory, carefully retaining many of its original features. In 2007 this listed building underwent a two million pound refurbishment and extension which has reawakened it's past historical grandeur.

Set in its own grounds, the house is ideally situated just a short walk from the Minster and all of Yorks major attractions.
